NBA FINALS: Mavericks defeat Timberwolves in Game 1 thanks to Doncic

In the Western Conference finals versus Minnesota, a combined effort spearheaded by Doncic’s 33 points puts Dallas ahead 1-0.

In Game 1 of the Western Conference finals in Minneapolis, Luka Doncic scored 33 points, including 15 in the fourth quarter, as the Dallas Mavericks prevailed 108-105 over the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Kyrie Irving kept Dallas in the game right away with 24 points in the first half. Doncic took over at the break and scored 15 of his 33 points in the fourth quarter on Wednesday night in Minneapolis, helping the Mavericks win 108-105.
